
Over the last 10 years, Waterway Art Association of Calabash has offered and awarded an annual $1,000 dollar visual arts scholarship to assist graduating senior high school students who enroll at a college or university and have been accepted into a fine arts course as either a major or minor.
Applications will be accepted from any 2026 graduating high school senior attending a school in either Brunswick or Horry Counties who has been accepted as an entering full-time student to a college, university or community college in 2026. The student must have fine arts experience in school and/or in the community.

Applications must be received no later than May 1st, 2026.
In addition to receiving a scholarship, the winner(s) in 2026 will receive a free one-year membership to Waterway Art Association and the right to enter 2D art in the Waterway Art Association Spring Art show in April 2027 with no entry fee. Art entered to this show must comply with the show prospectus published on the Waterway website.
