Career Goal: "For my Post Secondary Education, I have been accepted into the Appalachian State University to pursue an Art Education degree. This will help guide me and allow me to gain all the knowledge I can to become an Art Teacher for high schoolers. This has been my passion and dream to be able to become an Art Teacher for years now. Many of my teachers have had a great influence on this decision."

Judges for the Southport Wooden Boat Show Poster Contest thanked everyone for their help and participation, Ricky and Debbie from Ricky Evans Gallery, Pat DeGiuseppe, Carol Kidd and the staff and volunteers from Franklin Square Gallery, and all the artists who participated in this years contest. It was a difficult decision as there were 18 beautiful submissions. Thank you all so much!!

Her Venus Fly Trap design was chosen to be created and displayed at Carolina Beach this summer.
The Venus Fly Trap Exhibition was created as part of Carolina's Beach Centennial Celebration through their Island Art Council. Allison's Venus is on display at the beautiful Windstar Hotel!

Three WAA members have their art in the "Lumbeeland: The Hidden Beauty of Swamps" Art Show. Congratulations to Allison Fanelli, Susan Barnard and Danette Moran!
WAA Member, Allison Fanelli, painted a picture in honor of the US Coast Guard for the Maritime Art Show at
Franklin Square Gallery in Southport.
Fanelli donated her painting to Lee Daniels of the Oak Island Coast Guard station at the Artist's Reception on Friday, November 1, 2024. Fanelli says "That was the true honor.
Thank you to our Coast Guard and all servicemen and women who serve and protect us."
Thank you so much to WAA Members who gathered together and donated non-perishable foods, clothing, blankets, bedding, linens, paper products and money with only a short notice!!!
