The annual publication showcases the Wilmington region as a center of business and features original, local artwork.

A Danish and Norwegian word invoking or fostering a sense of coziness, contentment, and well-being.
As the darkness of the cold winter season settles in, what brings you comfort? Think cozy nights by the fire with snow or rain gently falling outside the window. Or is it gathering with friends and family in candlelit spaces, enjoying a hearty soup or playing board games? Or does donning a pair of soft fuzzy socks, cuddling with a pet and a cup of hot tea come to mind? Perhaps connecting with nature is your definition of hygge. The list is endless! Hygge reminds us to savor the moment, slow down and take a breath. We are looking for 2 and 3D pieces that convey the concepts of hygge for this show. What visions bring you a sense of warmth in the depths of winter?

Red Springs Artspace announces a call for artists for Landscapes of the Southeast, a regional juried exhibition. The southeastern United States is blessed with a remarkable range of natural diversity. Visitors are enchanted by the mix of mountains, beaches, and wetlands that our region offers. From the Appalachian Mountains to the sandy shores of Florida, there is always something to captivate and inspire.
The exhibition will be held February 2 through March 2 at Red Springs Artspace, 200 S. Main Street in Red Springs, NC.
To be eligible for prizes, all works, whether figurative or relatively abstract, must take Southeast landscape as their theme.
